Blackstone River Theatre

The Blackstone River Theatre is a nonprofit cultural arts center where the music, dance and folk arts traditions of the Blackstone River Valley come to life, celebrated its seventh anniversary in September, 2007! With an emphasis on the culture of the ethnic groups that settled in the Valley, BRT presents weekly acoustic-based music concerts, monthly folk dances and children's events, as well as special events on a year-round basis.

Cumberland Crime Stoppers

Cumberland Crime stoppers, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the safety of our community.  Crime Stoppers offers rewards of up to $1,000.00 for confidential information, which leads to an arrest, and conviction of crime perpetrators. Crime Stoppers was established in 1983 in order to assist the prevention and prosecution of crimes in the town of Cumberland. Crime Stoppers also sponsors crime prevention programs and initiatives. The Board of Directors consists of 17 Cumberland residents. The organization holds a number of fundraisers throughout the year to raise the funds for rewards that are paid for confidential information.
